First volumetric units installed at The Green as Tide Construction accelerates delivery of new PBSA scheme for 2027 academic year

The Green is a 23‑storey building delivering 424 purpose‑built student studio rooms supported by generous amenity spaces, dedicated cycle parking, servicing arrangements and a series of public realm improvements along the scheme’s frontage.

Volumetric installation is now well underway, marking a significant milestone in the construction programme and enabling Tide Construction to maintain momentum towards completion for the 2027 academic year.

Located in Southall, West London, within the London Borough of Ealing, the site benefits from close proximity to key public transport nodes and the strategic road network. This provides excellent connectivity to central London as well as west London, Heathrow Airport and destinations further afield.

In addition to its strategic accessibility, the site sits within an area undergoing rapid transformation following the opening of the Elizabeth Line, which has significantly strengthened Southall’s position within London’s wider growth corridor.

The Green is the UK’s first volumetric scheme to achieve Gateway 2 approval under the Building Safety Act, representing an important milestone for modern methods of construction and reinforcing Tide Construction’s leadership in delivering safe, high‑quality volumetric buildings.
