From the Royal Institute of British Architects to the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), judging panels have praised our ability to turn volumetric innovation into reality with high-quality architectural designs and future-ready solutions.
In 2022, Tide hit new heights internationally when Ten Degrees received six Awards of Excellence at the CTBUH Awards in Chicago. The awards were: Best Tall Building 100-199 metres, Best Tall Residential Building, Best Tall Building Structural Engineering, Construction Award, Innovation Award, and an overall category win for Structural Engineering.
Tide won the Innovation Award at Property Week’s 2022 Student Accommodation Awards, reflecting the impact of the Vision Volumetric system on this key sector. Citing the reduction in embodied carbon recorded at The Valentine, the judges referred to the approach as “a great way to build faster and more sustainably”.
Mapleton Crescent won both a London and National RIBA Award in 2019. Tide’s volumetric delivery was key to winning the prestigious architectural prizes, with the judges noting how it led to “programme benefits, easing the logistics on the tight site and achieving a high quality of finished product”.
