One of our longest – and strongest – relationships is with Greystar, the leading global rental housing provider. Since entering the UK market in 2013, Greystar has built up a property portfolio worth £4.5 billion, including eight [chk] projects with Tide, comprising nearly 3,000 residential units. This is a partnership based on a shared vision for high-quality rental housing: we have both worked as a main contractor on Greystar developments and developed projects that they have subsequently bought. Together, we have transformed the London build-to-rent market, delivering both the sector’s largest purpose-built development at Greenford Quay and its tallest tower in Croydon.

London developer Pocket Living is another of our repeat clients. Over the past 10 years [chk], we have completed five schemes for the first-home specialist, comprising more than 300 homes. Their mission to provide affordable, high-quality housing “using every available inch of space” dovetails with our ability to unlock awkward, constrained sites with volumetric delivery. A good example is our RIBA Award-winning Mapleton Crescent, which provided 89 apartments on a 450m2 footprint. In this way, our partnership offers a template for tackling London’s urgent housing needs.
